Manual Osteopathy

A variety of manual techniques to address imbalances in the body, from a whole body perspective. This includes treating muscles, organs, bones, joints and fascia through the soft tissues of the body to achieve and maintain structural balance and health. Also using craniosacral techniques to address imbalances in the nervous system.


Acupuncture

Acupuncture improves the body’s functions and promotes the natural self-healing process by stimulating specific anatomical sites with small, single use needles.

Massage Therapy

Hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health.

Reflexology is about bringing the body back into balance. Working points and tissues on the head, ears,
hands or feet can alleviate stressors in the rest of the body. Covered independently under some insurance plans.

Cupping Massage

An ancient form of alternative medicine in which special cups are placed on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. It has many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being.

Is from Medicine Hat Alberta, and graduated from the accredited massage therapy program at Lethbridge College in April 2020. Ally has always had the interest in helping people whether that is mentally or physically, she believes that both mental and physical discomfort coincide with each other, and can affect your way of life if not kept on top of. Carrie is a Manual Osteopathic Therapist and Clinical Exercise Physiologist. Carrie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2012 and completed her Clinical Exercise Physiology designation with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology in 2013.

She began her career with an interest in chronic health conditions and worked with breast cancer survivors for two years in a research and community program setting before transitioning to working with first responders. She administered yearly fitness assessments, taught kettlebell and strength training classes and provided exercise programming to firefighters. In 2019 she completed her Natural Nutrition Diploma with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and began providing nutrition consultations.

Carrie is passionate about helping her clients increase strength, quality of nutrition and reduce injury risk. She has received Manual Osteopathic Therapy treatments for 8 years which have kept her injury and pain free. Her personal success motivated her to delve into Manual Osteopathic Therapy as a career.
